The Deejay Section From Davis Museum

What/who inspired the work?

What do you hope its viewers will feel/think?

Why did you choose the medium, subject matter, style?

The Deejay Section is a set of experimental electronic music (samplers) created using GarageBand on an Apple iPad Pro.

Each music composition has its own rhythm that goes from the EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Hip Hop, Dubstep, RnB (Rithm and Blues), House, Chill-out, Rock, Electro Funk, Beat Masher, Edges and Angles, Future Bass Masher, Chili Hip Hop Masher, Flex and Flow to the Reggaeton. styles.

Each of these musical collages were LIVE broadcasted through my Facebook profile with the camera focusing on the Davis Museum logo and using a "bubble" filter that distorts the corporate blue color of the museum.

Once on the air, the compositions have been downloaded from Facebook and published on the Davis Lisboa channel on YouTube.
